What it does

One app for the whole job

Edit, clip, caption, post and email in one place, instead of jumping between separate tools.

Ask Nexus: describe it and it builds it

Type what you want, like "a 30-second vertical video about my bakery, with captions and a voice-over." Ask Nexus plans it, builds the free steps right away and hands you a first draft to edit. Anything that costs money, posts or sends email waits for your approval.

Out of the box, Ask Nexus runs in built-in smart mode: rules and fill-in templates, not AI, so the draft is a starting point. For AI understanding and writing, add the free AI brain (a one-click 2.5 GB download that runs on your PC and is slow on most computers) or your own Anthropic (Claude) key, billed by Anthropic. Ask Nexus shows which one is working. Free voice-overs use the voices built into Windows. Always review what it makes.

Export dialog: every export gets your title on the first scene, as a lower third that fades in and out over the first 6 seconds.

Videos

Clips

Turn one long video into short clips. Pick the shapes (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) and the caption style, and shorten long pauses. Clips gets the words of the video with automatic captions (English & Spanish), on your PC, or from a caption file or script.

Captions

Automatic captions (English & Spanish), on your PC. Speech-to-text runs on your own computer with the built-in whisper.cpp engine: no upload and no per-use charge. Each word is timed to the speech, and you can export SRT or VTT, burn the captions in, or find filler words like "um" to cut.

Or add a caption file (SRT, VTT, ASS or TXT) or paste your script. Automatic captions can get words wrong, so review them before you post.

Posts

Write a post once and check it against each network's limits. Plan it on a calendar and export it as a bulk file for the Metricool scheduler. Nothing is posted until you say so.

Checks for each network: Facebook, Threads and X each show a character count against the limit and say 'Looks good'.

Email

Newsletters, sign-up forms and welcome series. Build an automation step by step: email, wait, email. Sending uses your own email provider or SMTP account.

Your work, your rights

We don't claim ownership of your videos, clips, captions, posts or emails. Paid and lifetime plans include commercial use; the free taster is for personal use. Stock media and other third-party material keep their own licenses.

Your responsibility

You're responsible for having the rights to everything you upload or use, including music, footage, images, voices and people's likeness. We're not responsible for the content you create or publish.

No infringing content

We refuse content that infringes someone else's rights. Voice cloning and on-camera avatars are not included at launch.

Does it work on Mac?

No. Nexus Elite Pro™ is for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11.

What runs free on my PC?

Everything in the app at launch: editing, clips, automatic captions (English & Spanish) or captions from a file or script, rendering, Windows built-in voices, Ask Nexus in smart mode, the optional free AI brain (2.5 GB download), templates, free-license stock search and post planning. None of it uses credits.

What uses credits?

Nothing at launch. Credits are for hosted cloud features (such as hosted AI writing, AI video clips, songs, images and upscaling) that are coming later and are not included at launch. When they arrive, you'll see the maximum price before anything runs, and failed jobs won't be charged. Your own ElevenLabs or Anthropic key is billed by that company, not in credits.

Is there AI in this?

Some. Ask Nexus uses AI when you add the free AI brain or your own Claude key; otherwise it runs in built-in smart mode, which is rules and templates. Voice-overs use synthetic voices, and the app can add an "AI-generated" label to videos. Voice cloning and on-camera avatars are not included at launch.

Does Ask Nexus finish the video for me?

It builds a first draft. You review it, change what you want and decide when it's done. Anything that costs money, posts or sends email waits for your approval.

Do I own what I make?

Yes. Everything you create is your own. Paid and lifetime plans include commercial use; the free taster is for personal use. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or use, we're not responsible for the content you create, and we refuse content that infringes someone else's rights. See the terms.

Is there more than one plan?

Not at launch. There is one paid plan, Nexus Elite Pro ($10/mo for your first 12 months, then $15/mo), and the pay-once Founders Lifetime Solo. Both include every on-PC feature. A free taster (720p, watermark, personal use) is planned.

What happens after the first 12 months?

Your Nexus Elite Pro plan moves to the regular price of $15 a month ($150 a year on the annual option). We email you 30 days before the change, and you can cancel any time.

What does "lifetime" mean?

For the life of the product, not the buyer's life. Founders Lifetime Solo gives you every on-PC feature of the Nexus Elite Pro plan, with desktop updates for as long as the product is sold, plus a monthly cloud-credit allowance once cloud features arrive (not included at launch). One person, up to 3 devices, not transferable.

Can I get a refund?

What do you do with my waitlist email?

We use it only to email you about the launch. We don't sell it or share it for advertising. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.
